Elder Barbara Thomas
In 1986, Elder Barbara Thomas received a B.A. degree in Telecommunications and Minor in History from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. While at James Madison University, she met her husband, the late Bishop Antonio D. Thomas; they would marry in 1986. Elder Barbara was licensed into the ministry in 1996 and was ordained as an Elder in 1997. She also supported her husband, Bishop Antonio Thomas through two pastorates before he founded Spirit of Life Church International. Under Bishop Thomas' leadership, they both appreciated God's hand moving on Spirit of Life Church. With the spirit of excellence, order, and prosperity, Spirit of Life Church became a great training ground for believers, young and old. Presently, Elder Barbara serves as the Director of Ministries at Spirit of Life Church International. Elder Barbara is a profound and prolific teacher of the Gospel and her unique style of ministry will challenge you to rise to the next dimension in God's way of operating. Her goal is to encourage the hearts of the people and to assist in equipping them for fulfilling their destiny God's way. She considers it a privilege to assist in carrying on her husband's legacy and she is sold out to doing the work of the ministry for the Glory of God and the edification of His people. Elder Barbara Thomas is the blessed mother of two daughters, Sonya Judea and Kayla Victoria, and one son, Michael Antonio. |
Elder Barbara C. Thomas is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia where she was born again at the age of 13 and filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 16.
